Roots reiterated my belief in the Montessori system. I’m happy that my son has spent the first 3 years of his schooling in an enjoyable and stimulating way. Roots has created in him a love for learning, be it learning numbers, tasks, animals or geography. I did not teach him anything at home, nor was I tense about why he has not yet learnt something. My trust in the school only strengthened and I felt utter joy as I saw the various facets of my son bloom in the last 3 years. I practically watched the concept of ‘the child developing skills when he/she is ready’.

‘Learning through discovery’ and ‘follow the child’ are not just pretty words that Roots uses. They have shown how magical the process of learning can be. For example, at 4 my son did not know how to count 1 to 10. After being introduced to numbers through those amazing methods, within a month, he could write or arrange and show a number like one thousand, four hundreds, seven tens and two units, without error as 1472. His fascination for numbers (and various other things) has been nurtured at school and when I give him sums like 8+4+9+6+7+10, I see a bit of mental math happening and pat comes the answer “44!” While the way he picked up numbers fascinated me, the utter joy he feels doing such ‘work’ is deeply satisfying for me. He will never regard math as a ‘nightmare’. The methods, the freedom, the exposure and the encouragement Roots gives its children ensure all round development of the child. They have had various activities like ‘holi’, ‘magic show’, ‘fancy dress’, ‘hat day’, ‘children’s hand impressions to make the Indian flag’, letting the children have fun as the learn.

The team at Roots has been very supportive be it school-related or other issues. Their interaction with parents, observation sessions, the regular newsletters, events like ‘moms day out’ make the school really unique. Roots has given my child a foundation, which I’m sure he can excel with in academics and life.

Roots is just' Bang On'. After I saw Roots and met the faculty, I really felt this is the place for my son to be. I did not waste any more time looking elsewhere but spent more time in Roots looking at their fascinating world of learning and fun. All Children are special to their parents, my son (KESHAV ADYA) being born after 8 years of marriage was even more so. I want the very best for him and to be sure he is getting it at Roots

Once you have your child at Roots you can rest assured he is getting a very very balanced school life experience. As adults we look at work-life balance at work, as a child, children should also have the perfect school-life balance. Roots provide that platform. As parents, our questions, clarifications ,fears and doubts , not just about the school , but about each child’s ability are set to rest by a capable staff and their feed back and regular parent teacher meetings

I have grown in these three years with my child I realise children are miniature adults with their own sense of egos, peer pressure, abilities, fear of rejection, competition etc. They are not just there to be commanded around and to be expected to obey. My son surprises me with his ability to understand the world today. His reasoning and maturity are beyond what I would expect of him. I am really glad Roots is doing its best to make a good Citizen and able human being out of him. I don’t know if he will be the CEO of some company or the Brilliant IT guy, but for sure, I know that the foundation he has had these three years is setting him up for success as a person, a happy and responsible person.

If you are reading this site it clearly means you are looking for a school, in that case I would urge you to look at Roots. Letting your child join Roots would be the best decision you made in his life, considering that you may not have a chance to decide his/her life partner later!
